Class Announcements ![]() Extra CreditDo you want Extra Credit in Visual Arts? 100, yes, I said 100 points are available to you in Visual Arts if you visit one of the museums listed below. When you visit, you'll need a small sketchbook to take a few notes and complete three quick sketches (no more than 3minutes a piece) of three different pieces of art. Take a few notes, so you can write one to two paragraphs at home about your experience. Describe what you found most interesting and which styles of art or artists you found yourself looking at more than others.
Turn in your ticket stub, your quick sketches, and your paragraphs, and you get 100 points extra credit. A small sketchbook A set of sketching pencils 4H-4B or 9H-9B An 18 or 24 inch drafting ruler A kneaded eraser These are optional supplies and needed if you are getting a locker. Welcome to Visual Arts!In Introduction to Visual Arts, we explore the Elements of Art and Principles of Design within the context of drawing, watercolor (pencils and brush), pastels and/or acrylics, drafting, and collage. Students are free to explore other medium individually in consultation with me.
